What we check, what we hold back, and what a date next to a price does and does not mean.
How does PeptidesFinder get its prices?
Every price on this site comes from the vendor's own storefront, read by our own pricing engine and normalised to a cost per milligram so that products of different sizes can be compared side by side. The engine keeps the index fully up to date every week, and stamps every listing with the date it was last confirmed — so nothing on a comparison table is undated.
We do not sell peptides, and no vendor can pay to change a price on this site.
What does "price per mg" actually mean?
Cost per milligram is how a 5 mg vial at $29.99 and a 10 mg vial at $49.99 become comparable. It is arithmetic we do, on top of the vendor's listed price.
It is not a price you can pay. Nobody sells one milligram of anything. The amount you are charged is the listed price for the size shown, and that is the number to check on the vendor's own page before you buy.
Prices in other currencies are converted to US dollars for ranking. The original price and currency are what the vendor charges.
What does it mean when a price says it was checked on a date?
It means one specific thing: on that date, the product page we link to answered, and the price shown here is what we read. It does not mean any of the following, and we will not imply that it does.
- It does not mean the item is in stock. We do not track inventory.
- It does not mean the price is still correct today. A price can change an hour after we read it.
- It does not mean we tested the product. We test nothing. Where a vendor has third-party testing, we say who did it and link the document.
Why do some listings never appear in a comparison?
A wrong price is worse than a missing one, so some listings are held back even though we hold them.
Every price is compared against the rest of the market for the same peptide, hourly. A figure far outside that range is usually a unit error — a currency read in cents instead of dollars, a concentration mistaken for a quantity — and it is withheld until a person has looked at it. We also leave out listings that are not what they appear to be:
- Out-of-stock variants, which often carry a placeholder price.
- Capsules and tablets, which are not comparable to a vial per milligram.
- Multi-vial kits priced as though they were a single vial, which would falsely top a ranking.
- Any dose we would have to infer from a filename, a lot code or a URL rather than read from the page.
- Listings from other comparison sites. We price stores, not aggregators.
Why are retail and wholesale listed separately?
The two are separated by how a seller sells, not by how large the product is. A retail store lists a price you can pay and ships to an individual — a retailer selling a ten-vial kit is still retail. A wholesale supplier quotes on enquiry, prices by the gram, and sets a minimum order that does not apply to an individual buyer.
Wholesale per-milligram figures are lower by an order of magnitude, so mixing them into a retail ranking would bury every store a reader can actually buy from. They live in separate comparisons, always.
What if I can't find a vendor on this list?
A vendor missing from a comparison does not mean anything is wrong with them. There are a few ordinary reasons, and none of them is a judgement about the business:
- We have not added them yet. The index grows every week, and it will never be finished. If you know a store we are missing, tell us and we will look at it.
- They are in the other directory. Retail stores and wholesale suppliers are kept in separate lists, so a supplier will not appear among retail results.
- They do not publish prices publicly. Some sellers quote only on request or over chat, so there is no listed price for us to compare. They may still have a profile here with everything else we hold.
- We are holding their listings back for now. If we cannot reach a store, we pause its prices rather than show figures we cannot stand behind. A store being unreachable is not evidence that it has closed, and we will not treat it as though it were.
- They have closed. We say that only when we have something that actually shows it.
Can a vendor pay for a better price ranking?
No. Vendors can pay for a listing upgrade, and one vendor at a time can pay to be the featured partner at the top of the directory. Paid placement is labelled wherever it appears. What a payment never changes:
- A price. Prices come from the vendor's storefront and nowhere else.
- The order of a price comparison, which is sorted by cost per milligram and nothing else.
- A trust signal. Testing, documents, reviews and shipping facts are read from evidence, and a paid vendor with no COA on file shows no COA on file.
- A review. Reviews are written by members and screened before publication.
What if a price here is wrong?
Prices are subject to occasional error. An index this size is never perfectly current. We work on it daily, and we would still ask you to double-check the price on the vendor's own page before you buy.
If you spot one that is wrong, tell us and we will correct it and re-check the store.
